Edunet Portal publishes evidence-led cost review pages for schools and multi-academy trusts, alongside benchmark tools for managed service providers working in the education sector. Every school review page compares a school's recorded spend against 2024-25 financial benchmark records for comparable schools, using publicly available Department for Education data. Nothing on these pages is a confirmed saving: each result is an indicative review opportunity based on public data and clearly stated assumptions.

School review pages cover broadband, energy, ICT spend, safeguarding filtering and telecoms. Each page waits for a school postcode and a confirmed school selection before it calculates anything, so results are specific to the school being reviewed rather than generic estimates. MSP pages cover connectivity quoting, education procurement context, quote-delay costs, sales capacity and supplier response times for providers that serve schools and trusts.

The benchmark data behind school reviews comes from the Department for Education financial benchmarking service, which publishes per-school income and expenditure records for maintained schools and academies in England. Edunet Portal imports the 2024-25 records, groups comparable schools by phase, size and local authority, and shows where a school sits against that peer group for the cost line under review. Where data is missing for a school, the page says so rather than estimating around the gap.

Coverage is organised by postcode area and expands in controlled batches: new areas are only added once existing pages demonstrate they are being indexed and used. Each area hub below indexes every review page for its area and links to its neighbouring areas, so related reviews are always one click away.

Each hub below carries its own area profile — school counts, phase mix, pupil numbers and trust structure — computed from the same public feed the review calculators use, so the index stays consistent with what individual pages show. Hubs also cross-link to adjacent postcode areas, which keeps every review page within three clicks of this index and gives schools near an area boundary a route to their nearest reviewed towns. As new areas pass the indexation gate, their hubs are added here automatically.
